Call Center: Overview Call center is a physical place where customer
service agents are found talking on the phone with the customers and working
with computers. Call centre operators answer customer telephone enquiries
about products and services and promote an organisation's goods and services.
The number of calls that a customer service agent takes depends on the length
of each call and their work schedule. On average call times last from three to
four minutes.
