ICWAI - Examination Procedure


For Foundation

Exams are held twice in a year i.e. in June and in December. For June Term Examination application should be made before 15th December of previous year and for December Term Examination before 15th June. The last date of submission of examination from for Foundation Course Examination to the respective Regional Council is 15th April and 25th October for June and December term of examination respectively. The cost of Foundation Course Examination Form is Rs.30/- .The cost of Foundation Course Examination is 500/- payable by a Demand Draft in the name of ICWAI payable at Kolkata. A candidate have to obtain a minimum of 40 per cent marks in each paper and an aggregate of 50 per cent in all papers in the examination. Prospectus of the Institute, which costs Rs 150/-, available from the Institutes

FOR Intermediate Examination

Every candidate applying for registration is required to pay registration fee of Rs. 300/-.The fees for structure for Intermediate examination is Rs 4160/-(oral) and RS 3500/-(postal). The cost of form is Rs 500/- at one stage and Rs 1000/- at two stages.After one clears all the eight papers in the Intermediate, one can go in for the final.

For Final

Every candidate applying for registration is required to pay registration fee of Rs. 300/-.The fees for structure for Final examination is Rs 4620/-(oral) and RS 4000/-(postal). The cost of form is Rs 600/- at one stage and Rs 1200/- at two stages. In the final along with the 8 papers; Dissertation (5000 words), Computer (100 hours ), Modular training (15 days ),Audit / Industrial training (6 months) is included.
