Admission Process


Admissions to the above SBM programs are through NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT™) followed by Case Discussion (CD) & Personal Interview (PI) and selection on Merit

After the registration, students may choose test date within an NMAT™ test window period of 07th October to 20th December 2014

Candidates may avail two retakes after first attempt, subject to fulfilling required procedure, and in such cases the best score which is the total score & its respective sectional score, which make the candidate eligible as per cut off declared by NMIMS, will be considered for shortlisting for subsequent process.

Admissions are also open for Foreign Students and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) through a valid GMAT score. The separate registration link will be available in August 2014.

Seats Distribution

i) MBA Program in (Finance, Information Systems, Marketing, Operations & Decision Sciences): 500 Seats
ii) MBA Human Resource - 60 Seats
iii) MBA Pharmaceutical Management - 60 Seats
iv) PGDM (Bengaluru Campus) - 120 Seats
v) PGDBM (Hyderabad Campus) - 60 Seats


For appearing for NMAT online application has to be duly submitted and payment of registration charges need to be made in any of the prescribed mode within stipulated time

Candidates can apply for more than one programme/campus as per his/her eligibility by giving preferences

The preferences once given cannot be changed later on

There will be three radio buttons for registration; MBA (Full Time), PGDM and both (Full Time MBA and PGBM)

A candidate who wishes to apply for more than one campuses has to select the third option of both and has to pay registration charges

The mode of payment will be as credit card or cash at bank or demand draft

Pearson VUE will carry out the online registration & will conduct NMAT on behalf of NMIMS. Interested candidates have to visit the NMIMS website for online registration. For appearing for NMAT, online application has to be duly submitted & payment of registration charges need to be made in any of the prescribed mode within stipulated time

The mode of payment will be as under:

1) Credit card OR 2) Cash at bank OR 3) Demand Draft

a) 10th Marksheet & Passing Certificate

b) 12th Marksheet & Passing Certificate

c) Degree Marksheet (for 1,2,3,4th year), separately for each semester/ trimester

d) Degree Certificate

e) Provisional Degree certificate/ Passing Certificate

f) Post Graduate Degree Marksheet, wherever applicable

g) Post Graduate Degree Certificate, wherever applicable

h) AIU (University Equivalence) Certificate (For Foreign University students Only)

i) Migration Certificate

j) Eligibility Certificate (If required)

k) Work Experience Certificate

l) Medical Fitness Certificate (In Original signed by Registered Medical Practitioner)

m) Mediclaim Policy

REFUND OF FEES IN CASE OF WITHDRAWAL / CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION

Withdrawal of admission means voluntary withdrawal by candidate for any reason
The candidate should submit a written request for withdrawal / cancellation of admission to Deputy Registrar (Admissions) along with original fee receipt, which is MUST


Refund Rules
The Schedule of refund of fees will be as follows:

Till the date of commencement of the Programme (08th June 2015): Rs.1000/- will be deducted as administrative charges

Cancellation after the official closure of admission       

Cancellation made after the official closing of admission no fees will be refunded.
