 St. John's International Residential School is promoted and managed by the Saint Johns Educational Trust, founded in 1968. It is growing in leaps and bounds; and growing through stages, with breathtaking ease, poignancy, and grace. SJIRS accepts primary responsibility for meeting the intellectual needs of the individual student. Boarding Facilities

The boarders are under the direct guidance and supervision of the principal and well-experienced lady warden and ably assisted by a team of resident faculty members. The school has a modern, hygienic kitchen and dining facilities. It provide both vegetarian and non-vegetarian diet. The campuses are united by a telecommunications network that provides school-wide Internet access, and a bus service that facilitates student travel between campuses. St.John's schools has well equiped computer lab, science laboratories and library. There is Separate hostel for boys and girls.

ADMISSION

Admission is open for all communities. Prospectus along with the admission form can be obtain from the school office on payment of Rs. 250/- in person; Rs.350/- by mail; Rs.500/- by Airmail by M.O/DD drawn in favour of "Saint John's Educational Trust, Chennai. Completed Application Form will be registered with the Registration Fee of Rs.5,000/- by Cash or DD drawn in favour of "Saint John's Educational Trust, payable at Chennai. Documents to be submitted along with the admission form are as follows:-
A duly attested copy of birth certificate,
A duly attested copy of Community Certificate,
Transfer Certificate
Report Cards for 1st std and above.
2 copies of passport size photos of the applicant

A month's advance notice signed by the parents or guardian is required for withdrawal of pupils from the school. Application for T.C. should be submitted in writing within a week after the promotion results are announced. The Principal reserves the right to reject any application for admission without assigning reason there of.
