How to prevent hypoglycemia ?
Hyperglycemia, or the hunger disease, is a condition characterised by low blood sugar levels.
To prevent it :
Do not ignore the symtoms.
Do not miss any meal, especially breakfast.
Eliminate the 'dirty' food groups like sugar, white flour, alcohol, caffeine and tobacco. Have a fruit or salad instead.
Eat wholesome natural food like streamed fish, lean meats, whole grains, and vegetables.
Have six small meals with calorie intake that does not exceed your current three big meals.
Drink at least eight glasses of water a day.
Take more proteins for breakfast.
Read labels on packed foods and drinks. Avoid all sugar and food with additives like monosodium glumate or MSG.
In the early stages of hypoglycemia, watch even your fruit consumption and dilute the juices.
Don't take over- the- counter diet pills without consulting your physician.
