Headache is one of the most common health problems suffered by most of the people. Headaches can be classified into three main categories – tension headaches, migraine headaches and cluster headaches. There can be many reasons behind a headache such as physiologic changes in the head, constriction of blood vessels, abnormal neuron activities, genetic causes, excessive smoking, excessive drinking habit, due to lack of water in the body and so on.
There are about as many ways to banish a headache as there are ways to mute Chris Brown videos and play more hilarious songs over the top, so let’s start with the simplest and work to the more complex. A headache is basically like that “check engine” light in your car’s dashboard. It’s an annoyingly unspecific warning, but it can also usually be quelled with a minor adjustment. Or, you know, it could mean that your engine/head might be about to explode.
Dehydration can lead to a headache, especially if you’ve vomited recently or you’re hungover. Drink a tall glass of water as soon as your head starts to hurt, and try to continue drinking small sips throughout the day. You should gradually feel the pain start to ease.
If you can, try to lie down and relax for at least 30 minutes. Shut the blinds, turn off the lights, and focus on your breathing. Take a bowl of hot water and put some lavender oil to it and then inhale its vapor for a few minutes. This popular headache treatment must be repeated several times a day. Else you can even safely apply this herbal oil externally without the need to dilute it. Bear in mind that you must not take lavender oil orally.
Chickenpox is a viral infection that causes an itchy rash and red spots or blisters all over the body. Other symptoms of chickenpox are fever, fatigue and loss of appetite. It is caused by the virus known as varicella-zoster and can spread easily. This problem is common amongst newborn babies, pregnant women and people having weak immune system.
If an adult gets chicken pox, the complications can be much more severe and lead to extremes such as infertility or hospitalization. The rash that is associated with chicken pox starts off slowly, often a few red bumps on the chest and stomach and then quickly spreads throughout the body.
Brown Vineger is one of the most effective remedies for treating chicken pox is the use of brown vinegar. Take half cup of brown vinegar and add it to lukewarm bathwater. When this water is used to take a bath it gives relief from skin irritation. At the same time it will also help in healing the lesions and scars.
Though there are vaccines to help prevent chicken pox from occurring, there isn’t much that a doctor can really do to help to calm the rash or the itching. That’s why it’s good to know that there are some excellent natural cures that one can do in the comfort of their own home.
