Homoeopathy is the true science of healing. It is based on certain fixed laws and principles. “Similia Similibus Curentur”. Let likes be cured by likes.

In the system a medicine is selected on the basis of similarity between the qualities – suxch as proved symptoms of medicinal substances and the symptoms of diseases.

The qualities of medicinal substances are studied by administering them to healthy human beings of all ages and both sexes and recording the changes in their state of health.

The persons on whom such a study is conducted are known as provers the total picture and symptom complex recorded forms the basis of study of a medicine.

These medicine, which produce certain set of symptoms in healthy person, have the capacity to cure similar set of symptoms in sick person.

Homoeopathy was founded by Dr. Samuel Hahneman (1755 – 1843), a celebrated scientist and chemist and one of the leading physicians of his times.

After completion of graduation in medicine, Hahnemann practiced successfully and was looked upon as an eminent physician.

But he was not satisfied with the medicine and its result which were not governed by definite law or principle.

Finally Hahne-man gave up practice of medi-cine and took up translating medical and sci-entific books for his livelihood.

In 1970 while translating cullen’s materia medica from English to German, he came across “Girchona can cure malaria because it produce malaria like symptoms from that day he started proving various substances on himself and other healthy individuals.

Thus he established a system of medicine based on a fixed law “Similia Simibus Curentur”.

Homoeopathy holds that the living body is governed by a dynamic force which is known as vital force.

The vital force Animates and regulates the sensations and functions of living beings.

As long as there is equilibrium and as long as there is no disturbance the vital force maintains health.

Any external and internal attempt to disturb the equilibrium is always opposed by vital force.

If the vital force is deranged by a more powerful inimical force, the person becomes sick and the sickness manifest itself in the form of signs and symptoms during the state of sickness the vital force needs the external help in the form of medicine so that the organism attains its original state of health.

The Homeopathic system of medicine has been practiced successfully all over the world with more than 3,000 proved medicines.

Homeopathy has been found to be efficacious in treating almost all types of diseases.

The general impression about chronic diseases is that they are long lasting serious in nature and mostly incurable.

There are various systems of medicines and every system has its own scope and limitations, merits and demerits.

Act systems do treat chronic diseases sometimes they succeed sometimes they don’t.

Homeopathy holds that a disease is caused when the equilibrium of organism is disturbed and thereafter it gets expressed through different organs and tissues of the body.

In Homeopathy a sick person with his given symptoms is treated as single entity he is seldom treated taking into consideration just his diseased organs or only a group of common symptoms.

Homeopathy treats the person not the disease.

If a person is constantly facing an unfavorable environment, it affects his psycho – biological system and produces several changes.    — Source & Courtesy : Coastweek

Are you sleeping at your office?

Are you sleeping at your office?

Haven’t you heard songs like “Why are you not able to sleep at night”.
But in some cases it can be opposite i.e. People feel sleepy all day,
forget nights. They are found dozing every minute whether they are at
home or at office.

It has been recently discovered by scientist that people who doze at
office are highly susceptible to paralysis attacks as well. If this is
the same problem with you, then wake up because your life is in
danger. Try to save yourself from High Blood pressure, Heart disease,
Paralysis, Diabetes, Anemia, Neurological diseases, Anxiety,

But Why does it happen?

Some times body gets tired and to regain energy it needs oxygen .While
working continuously at one place, body becomes inactive while mind
remains active. Which means body utilizes same amount of oxygen which
is required at rest. In this situation there is body’s inherent system
which is working. This system makes the mind inactive, so that maximum
portion of oxygen quantity inhaled by the body is utilized in relaxing
the mind. You start dozing. Have you ever felt that when you are
exercising the body, you never feel sleepy? Because in this situation
both neurological and blood circulation processes are working
simultaneously and similarly in your body. There is constant flow of
energy in body and there is no question of feeling sleepy.

Do you keep dozing at office while working? These days it is quite
common to see people sleeping at work. Some even start snoring. Early
hours in the office are very slothful. As soon as one leaves home to
come to office in a mood to work, laziness takes over. Even if you
want to work, you become helpless and eyelids start dropping. If
somebody call you, you hardly open your eyes and then go back to sleep
mode again. You go for sugar, blood pressure and heart dieses related
check ups, but of no avail. People working in office only move their
head and exercise their brain. But, their body has no movement i.e. it
sits idle. Because of this, the blood circulation and distribution
system stops working and in tern body becomes completely tired which
makes body oxygen deficient. To compensate this deficiency, the mind
wants to relax and we start dozing. But, when you are at work, you
never feel sleepy. Likewise, agricultural labors utilize every part of
their body when they are working and because of which the blood
circulation and inhalation process in their body works perfectly well.
If you practice the same thing, you won’t feel sleepy. But, if you
keep stationary for long in same position, dozing will become a habit
for you. If there are no changes, you feel boring for sure and hence
sleepy. If you keep changing your subject of work, it will keep your
interest alive and you can get rid of your habit of dozing. You also
have plenty of remedial medicines available in homeopathy. For this,
we need to counsel the patient to know what he thinks repeatedly and
converts to actions. For example, one needs one pen, He goes to buy
one pen, but end up buying more than one. Telling lies, fear, hiding
themselves from others, getting angry for no reason, showing false
happiness, not able to tolerate anything, cleanliness etc which cannot
be written here. Symptoms written above ,if followed then you can get
recover from these very easily and you can become faithful, obedient
towards your boss.

1) Nux Vom 6- , anger, who feel sleepy at office while sitting on the
chair, for them Nux vom 6 is very useful medicine. Take it thrice a
2) Zinc Met 6- who feels sleepy, drowsiness at the time of work, who

3) Acid phos 30- while writing if you feel sleepy. Take it thrice a day.

Doctor so that he can prescribe you the suitable medicine from the
above medicine

Trick or treatment? The truth about homeopathy

Sunday, May 11th, 2008

Continuing our debate on ‘The Best and Worst of Medicine’, Michael Baum and Edzard Ernst call for homeopathy to be put in the sin bin of history.

spiked and Wellcome Collection have launched a brand new website to debate the best and worst ideas, phenomena, developments and practises in the history of medicine, in the run-up to two big live debates in London on 26 June and 17 July. Here, Michael Baum and Edzard Ernst argue that homeopathy is one of the worst, lingering ideas in the world of pseudo-medicine.

Once upon a time, doctors had little patience with the claims made for alternative medicines. In recent years, however, the climate has changed dramatically. It is now politically correct to have an open mind about such matters; ‘the patient knows best’ or ‘it worked for me’ seem to be the new mantras… read more

Article on painful sexual intercourse (Coition) –By Dr. Deoshlok Sharma @
Dyspareunia is painful sexual intercourse, due to medical or psychological causes. The term is used almost exclusively in women, although the problem may occur in men. The causes are often reversible, even when long-standing, but self-perpetuating pain is a factor after the original cause has been removed.

Dyspareunia is considered to be primarily a physical, rather than an emotional, problem until proven otherwise. In most instances of dyspareunia, there is an original physical cause. Extreme forms, in which the woman’s pelvic floor musculature contracts involuntarily, is termed vaginismus

When pain occurs, the woman may be distracted from feeling pleasure and excitement. Both vaginal lubrication and vaginal dilation decrease. When the vagina is dry and undilated, penile thrusting is painful. Even after the original source of pain (a healing episiotomy, for example) has disappeared, a woman may feel pain simply because she expects pain. In brief, dyspareunia can be classified by the time elapsed since the woman first felt it:
During the first 2 weeks or so, dyspareunia caused by penile insertion or movement of the penis in the vagina or by deep penetration is often due to disease or injury deep within the pelvis.

After the first 2 weeks or so, the original cause of dyspareunia may still exist with the woman still experiencing the resultant pain. Or it may have disappeared, but the woman has anticipatory pain associated with a dry, tight vagina

Numerous medical causes of dyspareunia exist, ranging from infections (candidiasis, trichomoniasis, urinary tract infections), tumors, xerosis (dryness, especially after the menopause) and LSEA. Dyspareunia may result from female genital mutilation, when the introitus has become too small for normal penetration (often worsened by scarring).

Homoeopathic treatment is on totality of symptoms lot of medicine is there for this but mental detail and counseling is required for permanent cure.

Female Orgasm

Monday, May 5th, 2008

An orgasm (from Greek orgasmós, from orgán – “to swell”, “be lustful”), also known as a sexual climax, is a pleasurable physical, psychological or emotional response to prolonged sexual stimulation It is often accompanied by a notable physiological reaction, such as ejaculation, blushing or spasm and may be followed by aftershocks.

Female orgasm: In a human female orgasm, orgasm is preceded by moistening of the vaginal walls, and an enlargement of the clitoris due to increased blood flow trapped in the clitoris’s spongy tissue. Some women exhibit a sex flush; a reddening of the skin over much of the body due to increased blood flow to the skin. As a woman comes closer to having orgasm, the clitoris moves inward under the clitoral hood, and the labia minora (minor lips) becomes darker. As orgasm becomes imminent, the vagina decreases in size by about 30% and also becomes congested from engorged soft tissue. The uterus then experiences muscular contractions. A woman experiences full orgasm when her uterus, vagina and pelvic muscles undergo a series of rhythmic contractions. The majority of women consider these contractions to be very pleasurable.

After the orgasm is over, the clitoris re-emerges from under the clitoral hood, and returns to its normal size in less than 10 minutes. Unlike men, women either do not have a refractory period or have a very short one and thus can experience a second orgasm soon after the first; some women can even follow this with additional consecutive orgasms, up to eight have been reported amongst some people; this is known as having multiple orgasms. After the initial orgasm, subsequent climaxes may be stronger or more pleasurable as the stimulation accumulates. Research shows that about 13% of women experience multiple orgasms; a larger number may be able to experience this with the proper stimulation (such as a vibrator) and frame of mind. However, some women’s clitorises are very sensitive after orgasm, making additional stimulation initially painful. It is possible to engage in deep, rapid breaths while continuing stimulation and making a conscious intention to release the pain and tension. Doing this can allow for the intense stimulation to be interpreted not as painful but as intensely pleasurable.

Male Orgasm

Monday, May 5th, 2008

An orgasm (from Greek orgasmós, from orgán – “to swell”, “be lustful”), also known as a sexual climax, is a pleasurable physical, psychological or emotional response to prolonged sexual stimulation It is often accompanied by a notable physiological reaction, such as ejaculation, blushing or spasm and may be followed by aftershocks.

Male orgasm: In a human male orgasm, there are rapid, rhythmic contractions of the prostate, urethra and the muscles at the base of the penis, which (in the adult) typically forces stored semen to be expelled through the penis’ urethral opening, in a process known as peristalsis. This is referred to as ejaculation. The process usually takes from 3 to 10 seconds. The process is usually, but not always, extremely pleasurable. Orgasm is generally induced by direct stimulation of the penis. Some men experience heightened orgasm by direct stimulation of the prostate through the perineum.

Following ejaculation, a refractory period usually occurs during which a man cannot have another orgasm. This period can be anywhere from less than a minute to over half a day, depending on age and other individual factors. A few cases have been reported of men who appear to have no refractory period at all. Scientists theorize that a pituitary gland difference may cause this unique ability.
