Homeopathy day rally held

Around 250 homoeopathic doctors and students participated in the homoeopathy day rally, that began from the Mahatma Gandhi statue and concluded at the High Court, on Friday. The rally was organised by the Karnataka state branch of the Homeopathic Medical Association of India, to commemorate the 254th birth anniversary of Dr Samuel Hahnemann, founder of homeopathy.

Mahesh Joshi, senior director of Doordarshan Kendra, flagged off the rally.

“The objective of the rally is to create awareness about the therapeutic benefits of homoeopathy, so that people can avail the benefits,” said Dr A B Jayanth, general secretary of the Homeopathy
Medical Association of India. Dr B T Rudresh, governing council member of the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, Dr Veerabramhachary, president of the Karnataka Board of Homoeopathy System of Medicine and Dr M R Srivatsan, executive member of the Central Council of Homeopathy, were among the other participants in the rally.
