Bajra ki Khichdi 

 

 Low Calorie Recipe.

Ingredients: 
100 grams Bajra 
40 grams yellow Moong dal 
1/2 tsp Salt 
Ghee (as per requirement) 

Method :
Soak bajra for an hour. Grind coarsely in a mixer at a low speed to remove the husk. Once it is completely free of husk, mix the Moong Dal in. 

Place it in a pressure cooker with water and salt and cook for about 10 minutes, until cooked. 

Add a little hot water for required consistency. Add hot ghee (if desired) and serve. 

(Serves : 4)

For Taste : A great winter favourite, it can be served with jaggery or curds.
