250 grams Flour
200 grams Sugar
50 grams Ghee
Add one cup of water to the sugar and make syrup of two thread consistency. Keep it aside.
Heat ghee and mix with flour. Knead it into stiff dough using little water. Divide into two parts. Apply a little ghee on the palms of your hand and shape each portion into a smooth ball. Roll each ball on a floured board, into a round of about quarter inch thickness. With a knife cut long medium equal sized pieces.
Heat the oil and fry the pieces on medium gas. When light brown, remove from the ghee and put pethas in the syrup. Mix properly and serve after few minutes.(Serves : 10)
