Preparation of Victoria Sandwich :

Put margarine, sugar and eggs into a mixing bowl with flour and salt. Beat the ingredients together with an electric blender. Divide the mixture into two separate tins and bake for 20 to 25 minutes at the temperature of 190 C. Separate the two pieces of cake with a double layer of foil or wax or butter paper. Then wrap the whole cake in foil and over-wrap this with a plastic bag, label, date and then freeze.
Thawing: Two to two and a half hours outside the fridge.
Bread, buns and dinner rolls have to be prepared for freezing in the same way but the thawing time will be quicker, according to the size of the food.
